Up until today, there was no clean and efficient way to publish your e-mails in a book. Memeoirs comes to the rescue, and ads the word ‘effortless.’
Your messages are selected according to the contacts you want to have in the book, and the time period you wish to feature in it. The juicy part of these messages are kept, while the redundant ones (signatures, reply quotes, etc) are left out. This being a fully automatized process, no living soul gets to peruse your emails, and likewise, your password is not stored at any time. After the book is sent to you, no record of your messages is kept.
Here is the storyboard to the narrative “How I made my mailbox eternal.” Written by you.
You start by safely logging in to your inbox. Gmail users get to log in directly on google.com, using OAuth. Because the login is performed on google.com, your credentials are not even seen by us.

Memeoirs is about bringing your letters back to where they once belonged: paper. It’s a service that helps you in the task of selecting and organizing your emails so that you can easily create a book with your correspondences in a matter of minutes.
Memeoirs’ anachronistic poetry lies in the intimate relations we have with a physical object that links to our past. It makes an excellent gift for your loved ones, for your friends or simply for yourself. But it implicitly serves another purpose. Media change and archiving methods disappear in the span of a decade. Memeoirs embeds your precious exchanges in a storage which will be accessible in a thousand years simply using one’s eyes.
Our next post will explain you how to go through the wizard and what will you do at each step. Stay tuned!

Hallo World!
My name is Memeoirs, and I am a new born Web App. My job is creating physical, real books out of email boxes.
That’s right. I connect to your Gmail or Yahoo mail and I can make you a book in a matter of minutes. Go ahead and try me now!
Select a time frame, some pals you want to feature in your book, customize the look and feel and you’re good to go.
You can try me for free. You’ll get a preview of the book and if you like it you can buy it.
Go ahead and turn your memories in a beautiful Memeoirs now!

There is a true sense of pleasure whenever you hold in your hands a book containing your e-mail messages, and go through it page by page. Once the text is printed in a book, and each e-mail follows the arrow of time, you witness the emergence of a new context. There is a new light shed on what you have written, and on what your friends have written to you. You get much more involved with those verbal communications, as soon as they have been liberated from their original digital context. A beautiful, physical edition is a much more adequate medium for the words you care for.
You can now try it for yourself, and as soon as you’ll lay your eyes on the new layout of your texts, you’ll understand what we mean.
Work at the FitMemes offices is proving quite productive. This said, we’ve finally nailed down all the tasks to be done before launching Memeoirs. We definitely feel the wind is on our backs now, and developing as a team never felt so fulfilling.

Memeoirs has a very close friend, that knows the system inside out. Introducing, Stevie.

Stevie spends long hours of his days tweaking and creating books with the e-mails he exchanges with his buddies. He’ll be popping up here and there during your Memeoirs creation experience to make you feel more at ease. In Stevie we trust!
You might be wondering who is the talented artist behind the creation of Stevie. Well, he also created the design of Memeoirs.com, the logo and the identity, as well as the full layout of the books. A very warm thank you to Paulo Patrício, a very talented man.
All the man-hours we’ve been investing on this wonderful project have finally paid off, and now we’re about to open the website for beta testing. Soon, some of the happy chosen few will be able to go through our tailored-to-the-pixel wizard and produce a super sexy book with their e-mails.
In the process we’ll be receiving feedback on what is still to be improved. As well as a deeper knowledge on how a real user relates to the application.
Needless to say we’re all very excited to thread this new land, while we slowly release our little baby into the wild.
You may be wondering how a software company used to writing and coding in the digital domain is able to produce such analog masterpieces as our Memeoirs are.
Well, the truth is we have a very special collaborator. Unibook, a Print On Demand, is our partner of choice. Through a network of printing partners in Europe, the US, and Japan, our books become available online around the world at very accessible prices.
UniBook cares about the environment and the future health of the earth, being involved in several eco-friendly initiatives to cut down on carbon footprint and to increase the use of recycled products. Hard cover books are made of FSC certified paper and paper board while the current paper stock that is used for the book pages is also FSC certified at approximately 30% post recycled.
